Shanae'a Moore

Theater, Ballet & Modern Instructor

Shanae’a Moore is a neurodivergent working artist, singer, and writer with extensive experience in teaching and new works. She is a proud graduate of The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where she received MFA in Classical and Contemporary text as well as holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Sam Houston State University. Growing up in Juneau, Alaska, she learned an appreciation for bear mace and the beautiful land that surrounded her. She has been a professional Actress, educator, and writer in Houston, Texas for 10 years. Shanae’a is an avid adventurer who is quite addicted to traditional archery and attempting to ride horses, and accidentally bringing art into every activity. 


Shanae’a is an artistic company member of Classical Theatre Company in Houston, Texas. Shanae’a also works as a teaching artist for Unity Theatre summer intensives and Theatre Under the Stars Community Engagement with programs such as the YMCA After School Musical Theatre, Early Arts Enrichment, Camp Cullen and Arts in Medicine programs. She also works as an independent Teaching Artist in School-Based programs, creating musical theatre-based arts integration residencies, which she facilitates across the Greater Houston area. Shanae’a owns a private lesson studio for voice, dance, acting and creative movement to teach artists how to hone their craft and become the most natural version of their unique artistic selves. Her art is aimed at uplifting people of all backgrounds, and encouraging artists to make revolutionary and unique art.
