
Tap
Tap is a leveled class and as dancers progress and demonstrate proficiency in the skills and techniques, they will advance to higher-level tap classes. Tap increases the student's awareness of musicality and coordination. It is a fast-paced, exciting dance discipline that increases the student's ability to count and hear the beat of the music. In this class, students will continue to learn the proper terminology and continue to advance their skills by adding more beats and rhythms.
Dress Code:
No jewelry is to be worn in class (necklaces, bracelets, rings, or dangly ear rings)
Booty shorts or clothing with inappropriate words or images are NOT allowed.
All students should keep their hair up and out of their face.
An appropriate cover-up to and from class is suggested.
No midriffs showing allowed.
No strapless tops allowed
Shoes:
Tap shoes to be worn with socks or tights.
Girls:
Leotard (any color)
Dance pants or leggings
Optional: Modest shirt over leotard.
Boys Attire:
Solid color, form fitting t-shirt
Athletic shorts/joggers
