Three young students in a group pose wearing clogging shoes.
Clogging

Clogging is a style of dance where students will get a high-energy workout. The whole family can experience a twirl around the floor and hear the musical click of their heels. The dance's origins come from Wales and England, but truly evolved out of the Appalachian Mountain region. Clogging is a percussive type of dance.

We dance to any music with a good beat! Think of line dancing with tap shoes, and that's clogging! If you can walk and count to five, you can clog! Clogging is a leveled class and as dancers progress and demonstrate proficiency in the skills and techniques, they will advance to higher-level clogging classes.
