Acro Gymnastics

Acrobatic Gymnastics is an ancient activity that emphasizes the combined beauty of dance and acrobatics. Students will learn tumbling skills that add excitement to the exercises. Students will also learn acrobatic skills showing grace, strength and flexibility. Choreography and synchronization add flare and creativity to each exercise. After the student learns the mini skills, the more complex skills are easier to achieve, safer, and will lead into additional skills. Dedication, perseverance, positive self-image, discipline, and teamwork are all part of our Acro - Tumbling program.

MDSA offers different levels of Acrobatic Classes, determined by what best fits each student according to their age and abilities.

For students ages 3 to 5, Tiny Tumblers class will focus on developing and refining the children’s large motor-skills. This class encourages children to challenge themselves and explore their physical abilities in a safe environment, developing their confidence and coordination. There’s also a bit of singing, dancing, and a lot of active fun!
